ADULT DACHSHUNDS available to lifetime homes.

All adult dachshunds will be spayed or neutered before leaving for their new lifetime homes.  They may be micro chipped and current on all vaccines.  They will NEVER EVER need another vaccine of any kind, except rabies as required by law in your area.  If you doubt their immunity to disease, then have your vet do a TITER..HAVE YOUR VET DO A TITER.  DO NOT OVERVACCINATE YOUR DOGS.  HAVE YOUR VET DO A TITER…Texas law requires every three years for another vaccine of rabies but if a titer is done that may be skipped as well.  OVER VACCINATION can and does cause serious health issues in dogs.  Do not allow your dogs immune system to be compromised.   BE THEIR protector from harm…Older dachshunds can and do adjust to new lifestyles and surroundings as long as the new home is loving, patient and kind.  Dachshunds are smart dogs and will adjust and bond to a new home and family.  They are housetrained to a doggie door and with patience and kindness can learn from a good trainer to transfer that knowledge to a new home.  If for any reason, at any time you are unable to care for any dog from Hidden Cedars they are always welcome back.  NEVER NEVER place a dog you get from me in anyone elses’ hands but mine.  i KNOW MY DOGS better than anyone does.  I DO NOT want my dogs to go to shelters, rescues or be homeless at anytime in their lives.  Older dachshunds can make wonderful companions for someone that does not want to start with a puppy.  If you would like to apply for one of our older dachshunds please fill out our form  Potential Owners Form and email it to me.

FC BC’s My-T Hidden Flower MW, Daisy is a red wire mini dachshund female that will be spayed before she is ready for her lifetime family.  She is a super smart athletic mini wire dachshund. She can get out of fences and xpens.  She is good with most dogs and loves most everyone.  Good bed dog, good traveler, housetrained to a doggie door.   She has an incorrect wire coat, very long and soft, so it will need to be groomed. GCH CH Hunu Ruff N Rocky Mw CD PCD BN RA NJP JE SCA SIN SEN CGCA RATS x DC Hidden Cedars Lines Of Distinction MSB are her parents and she was whelped 3-31-19. DC Hidden Cedars Mystery Continues MS, Saga  whelped 12-24-19 is a red smooth small mini dachshund, 9 lbs, who loves to hunt.  Saga will be spayed once her litter is weaned and she will be available as a lifetime companion. Very sweet flipper of a dachshund.. You look at her and she flips over, belly rub please. She will be available in or around July/August of 2024. Invictus Branded As Tough V Hidden Cedars MSB, Teeter is a red brindle smooth mini dachshund female.  She was spayed and now available to leave for her lifetime family.  She was whelped on 11-19-22. She needs 4 single points to be a Field Champion and does love to use her nose. She is not always good with other dogs and must go to a home with no other dogs.
