This is a bridge in Yellowstone park that we traveled upon.  Very impressive construction.

We came around the corner of a mountain and the whole area was covered with this grey looking rock.. wish I was a geologist and knew why, who and what is was from.  It was very cool looking.

 Yellowstone... so beautiful and diverse

This was such an odd looking place.. It was covered in white mineral deposits that made it look like snow. Most of the active geysers were gone but what they left behind was still very much visible.

The whole mountain was covered with mineral deposits... really incredible.

Mammoth Hot Springs is were we stayed in an old old building in town.. The ONLY one in town with a vacancy.  The room was big and clean but no bathroom.. we had one down the hall.  No air conditioning but it was very pleasant with the screened windows open.  It was very quaint.  The moose came and sat on the lawn and wandered through the town at their own leisure.. It was so cool.

This was across the street from our Hotel in Mammoth Springs.. If you look in the background you can see Mammoth Springs which are the mountains covered in mineral deposits.  The fenced area behind the two moose is a geyser area.

Next morning on our way through Yellowstone...we come to this wonderful falls.... breathtaking
