Salt Lake City Vacation

Information on the spring below

This was so cool.. Very clear water just bubbling up out of the rock

water leading away from the spring

it is SNOW!!! in May

getting higher in the mountains

This is at Bear Lake.. this lake was an incredible shade of blue

I have never seen a lake with this turquoise blue color

It was very windy and cold as we viewed this beautiful lake.  It had no

boaters or fishermen on it when we were there.

saying good bye to the Bear Lake.

We are getting really high in elevation but will get higher.

The skies were so clear and the air was full of pine smell which only

added to the magnificence of the view.

You could hear the birds of the area talking back and forth through

the trees and grasses

The small stream has grown into a river, not as clear but as lovely

In 1988 Yellowstone had a natural fire that burned thousands of acres and left many areas barren. Some areas have recovered quicker than others. More information click on link below

The first night Charles drove from Salt Lake City, Utah to Jackson Hole, WY.  We spent the night at a log cabin looking lodge that was great.  It even had internet and we left the 3rd story window open for the crisp cool air to come in.. They do not have elevators for some reason in this hotel... We got to walk up 3 stories to our room and the thinner air made that fun!!  I was just glad we each only had one suitcase each to carry.
