Hidden Cedars guarantees the above described puppy/dog to be in good health. The puppy has been wormed every two weeks since birth and an additional shot record will be provided. Please have your puppy examined by your vet within 48 hours of purchase. If your vet finds any health problems that are life threatening, with a written explanation from your vet and conformation by our vet, the puppy will be replaced. If our vet is not able to examine the pup due to distance, two different vet opinions in writing will suffice. We will replace the pup of equal value or if no puppy is available or none desired then a refund will be given. Transportation for the puppy back to Hidden Cedars will be provided for by the buyer. If your puppy at any time in its life has a genetic defect that cause the puppy to die or to be put to sleep we want to be made aware of this. This genetic defect will need to be verified in writing by two unassociated vets. Hidden Cedars assumes no responsibility on this puppy after leaving the premises regarding medical expenses, landlords disapproval, allergy to animal or disagreement of family. This puppy is being sold as a quality representative of its breed on the understanding that it is being sold on a limited registration (this makes the puppy ineligible for the conformation ring and breeding purposes). This puppy is being sold as a pet and companion. This puppy is not being sold for the purpose of being bred therefore none of its progeny are eligible for registration. This is to protect the integrity of the breeders’ bloodlines, the health of the pet, and to help control the pet population. It is suggested that you consult your vet as to the appropriate age for spay or neutering your pet. Limited registration entitles buyer to register pup with AKC and compete in all AKC sanctioned events other than conformation classes. Buyer agrees to have said pup spayed or neutered. Seller suggests that Buyer attend obedience classes with your pup and provide proper socialization opportunities for the pup.
If for any reason the buyer is unable to care for this pup at any point in its lifetime the breeder requests that we be given first option to take this pup back or find it a suitable home. Please never put this pup with any animal shelter or rescue. We will gladly take any of our pups or dachshunds back that you can no longer care for. No money will be refunded but we will make every effort to find this dog a suitable home. Signature below indicates understanding and willingness to comply to this contract and the Acclamation form. Please contact the breeder with any questions or problems that arise during your pets lifetime. Please keep in touch and update us.
