If for any reason you were not able to care for them at any time we would ask that they would come back to us. An older dachshund can and does adjust to new family life. If we would be shipping our dachshund to you, the shipping is $210 airfare, $50 crate (larger crates for adults) and $35 health certificate for an additional $295 to the cost of the dog. He travels well in the car. Arty is afraid of men for some reason and needs a home with NO MEN in the immediate family. If men come to visit he would need to be crated.
