| All adults are spayed/neutered and current on all
vaccines and on heartworm preventative. Some are Avid micro chipped
and if not they can be. Older dachshunds adjust to new lifestyles and
surroundings as long as the new home is loving, patient and kind.
Dachshunds are smart dogs and will adjust to a new home and family.
They are housetrained to a doggie door and with patience and kindness can
learn from a good trainer to transfer that knowledge to their new
home. If for any
reason you were not able to care for them at any time we would ask that they would come
back to us. An older dachshund can and does adjust to new family life. They
can make wonderful companions for someone that does not want to start with a puppy.
If we would be
shipping our dachshund to you, the shipping is $225 airfare, $50 crate
(larger crates for adults) and
$35 health certificate for an additional $310 to the cost of the

Melanie was whelped on
12-07-03. She is current on all vaccines, including rabies and on heartworm
preventative. Melanie is
her name. She gets along with other dogs of either sex and loves
most all people. Very pretty and healthy girl.
